    My highest praise for this is for the durable-feeling material. This is my third laptop backpack (I’ve kept my first two for multiple years), and this one’s material feels more durable than either.

    Of my first two packs, I really hated one. This new pack doesn’t have any of the things that made me hate it. Primarily, it was that the bag was kind of floppy and didn’t have a well-defined shape when empty. This one (I’ll start referring to it as the x-pac) absolutely does, which makes it easier to put anything in it and to access and utilize the outer zippers.

    The second highest praise is for this: The zippers have cords on them with rubberized ends, which is a great detail–my previous pack, the one I didn’t hate, had tabs on the zippers which broke over time, and it eventually was a pain to zip open/closed the pockets, which is the only reason I ever replaced it. I think these zippers will last because of these protections–it’s clear they thought about the zipper life when they designed the x-pac.
